Matthew has trained at leading music programs, earning a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University. He performs professionally with ensembles across the East Coast, giving students insight into contemporary music, performance practice, and the life of a working musician.
